School Site Visit from Representative Nadine Nakamura Featured in 2022 Annual Report

In 2021, Representative Nadina Nakamura met with member of the Namahana team at its future school site in Kalihiwai/Kīlauea. During her visit, she was informed about plans for the school and its charter application by Dr. Kapua Chandler (School Leader), Dr. Mehana Vaughn (Namahana School Governing Board Member), and Kauʻi Fu (Namahana Education Foundation Board Chair). We are so glad she took the time to visit with us and learn about Namahana School. The Namahana team will continue to keep Representative Nakamura informed about Namahana School’s progress.
