Namahana School’s Community-Driven Fundraiser Continues

In the last month, thanks to donations and efforts from community members, we’ve made significant fundraising progress. This includes the recently secured 100 donors for a $100,000 match, where we raised an additional $50,000+ from the North Shore community in the process, as well as other grants and gifts.

The community as whole has really stepped up: we have 339 donors total, with 168 of those new this year.

That’s an incredible showing of generosity, and a strong sign of just how much the community wants and needs Namahana School to happen. Thank you.

We’re well on our way towards our $1.5 million goal by August. But we still need help to get there and ensure our timelines are met, as we work towards welcoming our first 7th and 8th graders in August 2025.
